Hong Kong - Fu Lu Sho

Main entrance of Fu Lu Shou

Old Fashion

Vegetarian Orgasm

Restaurant Name : Fu Lu Shou
Location : 7/F, 31 Hollywood Road, Central, Hong Kong

Rating : 3 Marylicious Stars

Hong Kong - Butchers Club (Wan Chai)

Butcher Club's very simple menu
(watch out for the "secret menu" on the bottom)

Original Burger

Inside of the Original Burger

Secret Menu - Vegetarian Burger

Secret Menu - Kimchi Burger
(background - Duck Fat Fries)

Restaurant Name : Butchers Club
Location : G/F Rialto Building, 2 Landale Street, Wan Chai, Hong Kong

Rating : 2 Marylicious Stars
Price Range : Around HK $150 / person (burger and fries with drink)

Summary : While the beef patty of the Original Burger was well grilled, there wasn't a lot of flavor to make the burger memorable... Additionally, given that the Butchers Club has an "open air" design, the dining experience was not so pleasant when the outside temperature was 30+ degrees and the air condition was barely working...

Hong Kong - Nosh

Entrance to Nosh on Upper Station Street

Shiitake Melt on Sourdough

Euro Brunch - Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough and Sausages

Spicy Crab Cakes with Horseradish Cream

Apple Tart Tin

Restaurant Name : Nosh
Location :  11 Upper Station Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong

Rating : 4 Marylicious Stars
Price Range : Average HK $210 / person (with non-alcoholic drinks)

Summary : Perfectly scrambled eggs on flavourful and chewy sourdough bread.  Even the grilled tomatoes and the side salad were full of flavour!  Definitely a brunch place worth going back to!  Recommendation is to get there before noon, as that's when the crowds start to show up...

In order to make sure we have some food in our stomachs for the Timeout Wine Walk, Annalala, Kalena and I decided to have brunch at Nosh, a corner cafe that serves pretty amazing brunch food.

I have not been to Nosh before, but I had walked pass Nosh once in the afternoon and noticed that there were A LOT of people standing outside the cafe hydrating themselves with coffee and drinks.  So, naturally I was curious about this little corner cafe.

Having tried the brunch, I have to say I was very impressed with the food.  The flavour is definitely much better than other brunch places I've been (such as The Brunch Club...) and the dessert was also delicious!!!

I am very happy to have tried this brunch place and will go back to try new dishes in the future ^_^

Chicken paella

Restaurant Name : Terra
Location : 62 High Street, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong

Rating : 3 Marylicious Stars
Price Range : Around HK $250 / person (3 course dinner without alcohol)

Summary: The highlight of the dinner were the ribs and the paella.  The meat on the ribs was tender and flavourful and easily fell off the bones.  The rice of the paella was a little bit too soft, but still nicely cooked and with enough flavour

Eggplant Salad

Taglionini Pomodoro

Waygu Steak

Risotto

Whole Roasted Chicken

Restaurant Name : The BellBrook
Location : 2/F, Carfield Commercial Building, 77 Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong

Rating : 4 Marylicious Stars
Price Range : Around HK $500 / person (2 course dinner with bottles of wine)

Summary : This is my 3rd time visiting BellBrook and the experience was actually better than the previous 2 times!  That's the reason for the increased Marylicious star rating ^_*  So, this is definitely a place worth going to.

When Elaine wanted to meet up for a group dinner, I suggested BellBrook as an option, and luckily for me, the menu had changed so I got to try new dishes.

Everyone at dinner thought the dishes were yummy, and that I had made a great suggestion ^_^  They were looking forward to the publication of my foodie blog, so that they can take recommendations from my blog!
